Department Activities

The Education Quality Control Department of the University of Geological Sciences was created in accordance with the law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On education" dated September 23, 2020 No. LRU-637, with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 20, 2017 No. DP-2909 "On measures for the further development of the higher education system ", As well as in accordance with paragraph 14 of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan" On the establishment of the activities of the State Inspectorate for Quality Control of Education under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan "No. 515 dated July 18, 2017.

The aim of the department is to develop and implement a mechanism for improving the quality of education, coordinate and carry out work to improve the national and international ranking of the university, improve the quality of education at the university and its structures.

Control over the quality of education is an integral part of the university management system. The main task of the department is to ensure the compliance of the quality of education with state educational standards, and to carry out organizational work to monitor the quality control of education in the system of continuing education.The mission of the department is to achieve high competence and professionalism of the graduates of the University of Geological Sciences. According to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 06/08/2020 No. DP 4740 "On measures to organize the activities of the University of Geological Sciences in the system of the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Geology and Mineral Resources" education in accordance with international educational standards in close connection with research, production and other tasks of the geological industry.
