The Abdullayev Institute of Geology and Geophysics conducts in-depth fundamental studies of the geological structure and composition of the Earth's crust. The main directions: |
1.Explore and modeling of the genesis of minerals in magmatic and postmagmatic processes.
2.Substantiation and modeling of geodynamic processes and patterns of mineralization formation.
3.Identification of areas promising for hydrocarbon raw materials and identification of geothermal anomalies based on geophysical studies.
4.Creation of an electronic database and atlas of reference rocks and mineral ores.
5.Study of geological characteristics of glaciers and glaciological studies.
