Academic mobility of students of the University of Geological Sciences at the Ural State Mining University

As is known, on October 26-27, 2022 the III Russian-Uzbekistan Education Forum was held in Samarkand. Along with other documents at this forum University of Geological Sciences signed an agreement on academic mobility with Ural State Mining University. Based on this agreement 25 undergraduate students of the 1st year of studies in "Economics (by branches and spheres)" discipline and 2-3 years of studies in "Economics of Exploration Works" discipline participate in academic mobility on the following subjects:

- Basics of Financial Decision Making (24 hours);

- Economics and Organizational Management (36 hours);

- Statistics (32 hours);

- Management and Tax Accounting (28 hours);

- Labour Economics (24 hours).

       In accordance with the curricula, at the end of the course the following is planned: exams in 2 subjects and tests in 3 subjects. 

       Lessons are conducted according to the approved schedule twice a week in the Ural State Mining University from October 10, 2022 on the platform MICROSOFT TEAMS in the online mode.  The lectures are delivered by Ekaterina Shatkovskaya, Head of the Accounting and Audit Department, Associate Professor, Olga Sokolova, Associate Professor of Economics and Management, and Olga Pozdnyakova, Associate Professor, as well as the teaching staff, including Oksana Logvinenko and Irina Peregon, Senior Lecturers of the Department.

For reference: in the autumn semester of the past 2021-2022 academic year, under the academic mobility programme organised by professors and lecturers of USU, 7 students of this faculty participated in the Management course, successfully completed the course and received transcripts with good and excellent grades.
