In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated June 8, 2020 No. PP-4740, the Geo-Innovative Technologies Center of the University of Geological Sciences (hereinafter referred to as the Center) was established. The main aims of the center are:

  • to carry out studies based on scientific and technical foundations for the effective and efficient research and development of underground resources;
  • to establish and work with advanced technological infrastructures to produce the information needed by geosciences
  • to train qualified personnel who can carry out laboratory and technological studies in the field of earth sciences;
  • to attract investments and advanced technologies, actively participate in scientific, technical and innovation programs, international studies and grant programs for integration into the global innovation system, creating opportunities for the creation of modern competitive methods and technological solutions.

MISSION

GENERATING INFORMATION AS A RESULT OF ANALYSIS AND TECHNOLOGY WORKS FOR THE EXPLORATION AND RESEARCH ACTIVITIES IN THE FIELD OF EARTH SCIENCES AND MINING WITH AN INNOVATIVE APPROACH

VISION

BEING A GLOBAL ACTOR IN ANALYSIS AND TECHNOLOGY STUDIES FOR EARTH SCIENCES

ACTIVITIES

Center of Geoinnovation Technologies (CGT); provides services in the fields of analysis and technological testing for geology sciences. The primary task of CGT will be to carry out chemical, physical, mineralogical and petrographic analyzes and technological tests on the samples of the projects included in the annual work program of the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology of the Republic of UZBEKISTAN, and to lead industrial studies by developing technological processes on a pilot scale.

In addition, CGT will carry out studies in the field of earth sciences on the samples sent by natural and legal persons both in Uzbekistan and in the global arena.

CGT will be able to carry out research projects that will benefit the sector in relation to its technology.

In addition to all these studies, joint projects with universities, domestic and foreign institutions and organizations will be studied, implemented and finalized, and technical consultancy and training services will be also provided.

In this context;

  • Analysis of the samples sent for geochemical prospecting studies based on geochemical methods, trace and rare element analyzes in various rocks and ores, chemical analyzes of rocks, ores, metals and noble metals,
  • All kinds of analyzes and technological studies of solid fuels,
  • All kinds of analyzes of oil and gas,
  • All kinds of analyzes of surface and groundwater,
  • Mineralogical and petrographic analyzes of rocks, ores and coals,
  • Product tests and material researches with technological tests, researches and pilot studies for the evaluation of industrial, ceramic, metallic raw materials and wastes,
  • Laboratory and pilot-scale enrichment studies for the enrichment of metallic mines, coal and industrial raw materials and the treatment of product enrichment plant wastes

will be carried out.

Activities that CGT will carry out in the field of education:

  • To organize educational practices according to the principles of "Education-Science-Technology" in close relationship with the research institutes and education departments of our university;
  • To ensure the continuity of the education programs to be organized and to ensure their integration into the world education and scientific community;
  • To develop and strengthen long-term relations with leading educational institutions, research centers and the business world of foreign countries in the field of education, science and technology;
  • Ensuring that appropriate conditions are created in the field of earth sciences and post-training practices are carried out;
  • To cooperate with the world's leading university laboratories and prestigious scientific and technology centers, innovation and technology transfer centers, technology parks, high-tech laboratories, innovation laboratories;
  • Implementing research projects to involve young people in scientific activities through the creation of research opportunities;
  • To develop new approaches and methods for conducting scientific and technical documentation (technological or laboratory regulations, design documentation, etc.), experimental (laboratory, production) tests;
  • Active participation in scientific, technical and innovation programs, international competitions and grants, as well as investments and advanced technologies in order to integrate into the global innovation system, create modern competitive methods and technological solutions.
