The department for youth affairs, spirituality and enlightenment oversees

The department for youth affairs, spirituality and enlightenment oversees the spiritual and educational work of the university, coordinates the instructions set out in regulatory documents, public works of departments. Generalizes educational experience, teaches students in the spirit of patriotism, takes measures aimed at the formation of their spiritual world.

The department is formed by the order of the rector of the university;
The wo
rking group of the department includes the leading specialists of the university in this area;
The department conducts joint work with deans of faculties and their deputies, heads of departments and groups in organizing its activities;
The department carries out its functions in accordance with the charter of the Center for Spirituality and Education under the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education, based on current and future work plans.

The goals and tasks of the primary organization of the Youth Union of the University of Geological Sciences

- The main goal of the primary organization is to help create suitable conditions for the education of young people at the University, to protect the rights and interests of young people, and to make a decent contribution to becoming well-rounded individuals.

- The primary organization sets itself the following tasks:

- educating the young generation in the spirit of love and loyalty to the Motherland, instilling in their minds the idea of national independence, national values, religious tolerance, interethnic harmony and family values;

- to inform young people of their civil rights and duties stipulated in the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, to explain to them the essence of the democratic and legal reforms implemented in the country;

- Studying the problems of the youth of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology, the quality of education, the level of mastery of subjects, attendance, the level of use of textbooks and the library, assisting in considering and solving the appeals of young people;

- implementation of measures aimed at young people's in-depth education, learning of foreign languages and thorough mastering of modern information and communication technologies, as well as their career orientation;

- to discover talented young people, to carry out activities aimed at their comprehensive support and encouragement, to organize the activities of clubs and circles that help to develop their intellectual and creative abilities;

- supporting activities aimed at creating favorable conditions for inclusive education of young people with limited opportunities and special needs;

- to carry out systematic work on the social adjustment of children from troubled families, young people whose upbringing has fallen into a difficult and unhealthy environment, and to return students who regularly skip classes to the educational process, to prevent early marriages among girls;

- implementation of legal and educational work aimed at preventing crime and delinquency among young people;

- wide promotion of reading among young people, increasing their love for books and developing reading culture;

- formation of ideological immunity in young people against harmful vices under the guise of "mass culture", information attacks, religious fanaticism, missionary and extremist ideas;

- Development of youth tourism among the youth of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology, organization of their visits to historical monuments, holy places, museums, theaters, structures built during independence in the area where they live;

- to widely promote sports among young people, especially girls, to support their interest in sports and to create the necessary conditions for their participation in various sports competitions;

- organization of promotional activities aimed at wide explanation of medical culture, in particular, ways to protect against diseases to young people;

- promoting ecology and environmental protection among young people, promoting the rational use of natural resources, raising environmental culture among them, supporting environmental initiatives.
